Too many divergent opinions on Gen Paul's work prompted me to create a Gen Paul Committee to authoritatively authenticate his production.
At the beginning of 2018, the artist's son gave me his agreement to safeguard the integrity and influence of his work and to gather documentation for the catalogue raisonné of paintings and gouaches from 1916 to 1929.
Subsequently, Maître Farrando, auctioneer in Paris, joined us, and in September 2018, the committee received official approval from the Paris Prefecture.
Today, our most cherished wish is to restore Gen Paul to his rightful place as one of the greatest expressionists of the early 20th century.
